Their musical theatre writing partnership has been called the greatest of the 20th century. We will be looking at some of the big ensemble numbers from shows such as Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music alongside a couple of lesser known shows. Alongside soloists required for the ensemble numbers you are invited to bring a piece of your choosing from the vast catalogue of songs by these exceptional composers. Tutors: Laila ShariffThe City & Guilds (6502) Award in Education and Training (blended) is an initial teacher training course ideal for anyone who teaches adult learners (or has some experience of teaching) in the Further Education and Adult and Community Learning sectors. We may also accept you if you have not taught before but have related work or voluntary experience. You will be asked to attend 4 Saturdays and 1 weekend - Saturdays: 23 and 30 Sept, 4 and 11 Nov; Saturday and Sunday: 2 and 3 Dec.
