In this advanced course, you will be reading Plutarch’s Life of Alexander, and revising grammar, with translation both from Greek and into Greek.

Develop your advanced Cornish conversation and discussion. Suitable for anyone who has studied Cornish for several years and wants to improve their oral skills. Over two years, the course prepares you for the 4th Grade (final grade) of the Cornish Language Board examinations.

Have you been learning English for a long time but your writing just doesn’t seem to be improving? Are you quite a fluent speaker but find formal speaking difficult? Do you feel ‘stuck’. This course will release you! You will focus on how to improve the structure of your writing both the whole text, paragraphs and sentences. You will work on understanding the grammar of the language, and the skills you learn to develop your writing will help you improve your more formal speaking whether this is for job interviews, meetings at work or giving presentations. This course is ideal if you have been living in the UK for several years, feel quite comfortable in speaking English as a second language, but lack confidence in your literacy skills.

With expert guidance you will gain greater confindence and build on your technique as we explore more complex combinations at the barre and in the centre. Working safely and with correct alignment are at the core of what we do so to get the most out of this course you should have attended regular ballet classes and pointe work for at least 12-18 months.

In this advanced course, delivered face-to-face, you will read and translate unadapted texts by Latin authors to deepen your appreciation of their work and your knowledge of Roman culture, history and society. This is an in-person version of the online class taught by the same tutor.

Este curso es para estudiantes con nivel avanzado de español (si has estudiado español al menos durante 5 años) y tiene lugar en semanas alternativas.
