This course will help you get become confident in your everyday communication including reading and writing. We will focus on topics that interest you and use these to help you improve the key elements of reading and writing as well as communication skills to enable you to express your thoughts and feelings including in difficult situations. This short course is to make sure you are ready for the full GCSE Maths Foundation programme (AC201/AC205). It is also to ensure you know what to expect from the full qualification, its content and the commitment required for success in terms of time investment, dedication, interest and ability. GCSE Maths is a qualification which shows employers and universities that you have a good level of maths as well as effective concentration and study skills. It also demonstrates that you are able to learn and retain abstract concepts. Please note the Friday classes are not every Friday, but approximately every third week.
