What is the course about?
Develop dance and movement skills
Explore contemporary dance forms
Physical theatre methods
Create a choreography and devise a dance movement piece for a public performance.

Physical warm-ups
Co-ordination and rhythmic exercises
Laban technique
Create new dance moves
Choreograph a dance movement piece for performance.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Follow a set of co-ordinated movements in a warm-up
Improve your sense of rhythm
Devise your own dance/movement/theatre scenes
Increase control and flexibility of movement
Take part in a dance movement performance.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is for students with learning disabilities with a recognised ability in dance and movement.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
