I was born and raised in Hannover, in northern Germany, where I completed my A-levels, before venturing out into the world. I first moved to Munich for my studies as a simultaneous interpreter and translator in French and Spanisch and ended up in London, where I have been for the last 22 years. It was here that I started my career as a foreign langugae teacher. I hold a degree in Education and Psychology. I have now been a tutor for over 15 years, and apart from working at Citylit, I am a German teacher at an international boarding school in London, and I also teach privately to students from the ages of 7-78. It is never too early or too late to begin. Motivation, fun and practice will get you wherever you want to be and I will guide an assist you on your exciting journey. A foreign language is not just translating words, but you immerse yourself in a foreign culture, its people, food and customs. And lets not forget, an increasing number of employers are looking at foreign languages on your CV. Whatever your reasons are to study German, let me accompany you on this exciting journey. I am ready, are you?
