Free workshops to improve your employability skills

Join us for the City Lit Skills and Employability Fair. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to join FREE taster workshops hosted by the School of Skills, Employability & Wellbeing at City Lit.

Improve your employability skills in the following areas: Business & Technology, Health & Wellbeing, Psychology & Counselling, Speech Therapy and Universal Skills (English, ESOL, Maths & Digital).

What to expect?

On the day, you will be able to:

  • Meet our friendly departmental staff for course advice and guidance.
  • Network and connect with employers in the digital sector (for those interested in jobs in technology).
  • Attend talks and presentations on employability skills.
  • Experience taster classes and workshops.
  • Tour our state-of-the-art facilities, including the Wellbeing Centre (just a short walk away in Kean Street).
  • Learn how eligible students can receive financial support.
  • Find out about additional support for your learning, for those who require it.

Job Fair 

The Genius Hub Digital Skills Fair

The Skills Fair brings together employers, training providers, job seekers, and learners from underrepresented groups who are looking for jobs in technology. Participants that want to take the next step in their career, whether that be a career change or securing that first job, will be able to share their CVs with employers and learn the details about the role they intend to apply for.
