What is the course about?
This workshop will introduce you to Brazil’s history, culture, gastronomy and places of interest. We will cover all regions and main cities, with a special focus in Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Fernando de Noronha, Pantanal, Florianópolis and Foz do Iguaçu.
This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.

- Discuss with other participants travel experiences in Brazil and other Latin American countries
- Better understand each of the areas covered in the workshop about Brazil

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
No formal skills are necessary; the course is suitable for beginners but will also offer insight and challenge for those who understand Portuguese.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
You will be taught through lecture, discussion and videos.
