What is the course about?

An advanced Voice course that requires an initial assessment before enrolment, we will look at the safe and effective production on stage and screen of extreme vocal states such as shouting, crying and screaming. This course is taught by one of the top voice practitioners in the UK and internationally.

What will we cover?

Thorough vocal warm –ups
Practical advice on voice care.
The safe and effective vocal production of shouting and screaming
The safe and effective vocal production of crying.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

Understand the importance of breath support in the production of voice
Acknowledge the use of an open channel, pitch and projection in the work.
Identify how to assume vocal extremes in a safe and effective manner.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is aimed at those who have undertaken an accredited voice course or a wealth of previous voice training. A telephone interview will be required.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The tutor will provide the materials. You should expect to do some homework between classes.
