What is the course about?

The course is designed to consolidate your knowledge of upper-intermediate/advanced French. For the students interested, the tutor will be able to give them advice regarding the DELF B2.

What will we cover?

You will reinforce your comprehension skills and develop your oral skills. You will revise and practice advanced grammatical points through writing exercises.

If some students are interested, there will be explanations about the exams, expected level of French and the expected level of commitment for the Delf B2 course.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

-write and speak with more confidence
-understand short pieces of news items
-use advanced grammar more accurately
-prepare for the Delf B2 course interview.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Students should have either a French AS with a good grade or have studied French for 4/5 years recently. It is ideal for students, who have at least B1 level or have attended French 3 Upper courses and would like to progress further.

If you are not sure that you have the right level, please contact languages on languages@citylit.ac.uk.
