Frank Harris transformed his life through his learning at City Lit. After years of addiction and intermittent homelessness he came to City Lit as part of the ‘Move Project’ helping learners with a history of homelessness gain stability and skills for employment. Watch Frank's video >
Mary Hurworth, an art student at City Lit for over 25 years, left a gift in her will to gve others the same opportunity to follow new pathways in art, as she had. Her gift has supported the new Digital and Design Lab on the fourth floor.

City Lit’s Malorie Blackman Scholarships for Unheard Voices provide three annual awards worth up to £1000 each, to fund one year’s study within the Creative Writing department at City Lit. The three scholarships for 2020 are announced in April 2020!
