When I've finished, what course can I do next?

  1. Completing Functional Skills Maths Level 1 allows you to progress to:
Functional Skills Maths Level 2 or GCSE Maths (only one of these is funded)
Progress to Functional Skills Maths Level 2

    • This is the next level and is often equivalent to a GCSE Grade 4 (C).

    • Level 2 is widely accepted by employers, colleges, and apprenticeship programs.

  2. Access to Apprenticeships

    • Level 1 is enough for some intermediate apprenticeships (Level 2).
