What is the course about?

This course gets behind the hype of ‘Clean eating’ and ‘Plant based diets’ and examines the current research around diet and nutrition. You will learn how what you eat plays a significant role in determining your long term health, and how improving your intake of particular nutrients may help you to shed excess pounds, improve energy levels, concentration and mood.

This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.
We will contact you with joining instructions before your course starts.

Explain how detoxification takes place in the body and how to support those processes through diet.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is suitable for everyone, vegans, vegetarians and omnivores! No prior knowledge of nutrition required.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Presentation, discussion and small (online) group work.
There is no work outside of class.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

There are no other costs. Handouts will be given out but please have a pen and notepad so you can make additional notes.

When I've finished, what course can I do next?
