Partnerships

Our cultural contribution to the capital is huge and we have partnerships with a number of organisations who add to our rich diversity and community. We work with organisations who (like us) are intellectually curious.

For almost a century we have brought people together to enrich their lives through learning. From languages to visual arts, humanities to business and music to wellbeing, our wide range of courses, taught by tutors with passion and expertise. Our courses are an opportunity to try something new, re-rediscover past passions, learn new skills, keep active, change career or bring balance to busy lives.

How to get involved

Training for businesses
We specialise in Deaf Awareness and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) training - especially those who operate customer facing teams.

Discount scheme
We have a mutually beneficial discount scheme. Discounts typically depend on expected volumes of sales, and prominence in communications and on learning and development portals.

Bursary
Our student bursary supports students with financial difficulties, ensuring they enjoy the many opportunities that learning can bring to create a positive impact on their life.

Venue hire
Flexible venue hire in the heart of London. We have the 100 seat John Lyon’s Theatre and over 60 classrooms of differing sizes, all available to hire out on a day/half day basis. With great on-site facilities and versatile spaces on offer, City Lit is an ideal venue choice for not only attending an event but to host your own events too.

  • The British Museum

Building on the success of a decade long relationship City Lit and the British Museum's strategic partnership is committed to making history and the classics more accessible for all. We are looking to collaborate on study days and short courses; as well as our Mental Wealth Festival – jointly promoting our activities so we reach the widest possible audience.
