What is the course about?

The practice of restorative yoga is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. We use several yoga props to support the body in postures that are held for several minutes to allow the body to gently relax into the pose. Restorative yoga is a receptive rather than active practice. Pranayama (breath conrol or conditioning) practices will be taught to enhance your quality of breathing, to calm or to energise and to strenghten the respiratory organs.
