What is the course about?

The practice of restorative yoga is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. We use several yoga props to support the body and the postures are held for several minutes to allow the body to gradually relax into the pose. Restorative yoga is a receptive rather than active practice. Some yoga breathing techniques (Pranayama) will be taught to enhance your quality of breathing, calm the nervous system to rejuvenate and energise.
