What is the course about?

This course is to provide additional knowledge and practice of declension of adjectives (singular and plural) and the verbs of motion.

This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.
We will contact you with joining instructions before your course starts.

What will we cover?

Grammar topics, mentioned above: declension of adjectives (masculine, feminine, neuter singular and plural forms endings) and the verbs of motion (with and without prefixes).

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

-demonstrate knowledge of the different adjectival endings
-use different types of adjectival endings in practice
-demonstrate knowledge of the different verbs of motion
-use basic forms of the verbs of motion.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

The course is suitable for students who have studied Russian for 1-2 years or have an equivalent knowledge of the language.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The course will include oral and written grammar exercises and other language activities.

Eugeniya Clark

Eugeniya is a Russian teacher who lived most of her life in Moscow. She holds a degree in language teaching from Moscow State University as well as a PGCE. She has also trained to be a language teacher at City Lit. Eugeniya has taught Russian at all levels in a wide range of institutions including secondary schools, London universities and various language centres and agencies. She enjoys teaching adults who need Russian for travelling, communicating with friends or who would like to learn about Russian history, politics and literature. Her passions are languages, literature, art, and travelling.
