Part of the course will be delivered in lecture, offering a theoretical background to content and social media marketing. We will look at case studies and examples of good content marketing and work in groups on exercises to help write content. Then,we focus on the individual’s business by creating a social media strategy and examples of content that can be placed on social media. We will discuss when and where to post the content, how to incorporate trends or popular hashtags. Students MUST bring with them their social media account log ins and be comfortable with logging into their social media account for hands on elements of the course.(There will not be time in class to teach how to open a social media account from scratch).
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

After the recession in 2009, she started teaching adults how to use social media to promote their business, often working with career changers who were switching gears after being made redundant to start their own businesses. She began teaching social media at City Lit in 2015. Her approach is dynamic and engaging, vowing to make the scary world of social media accessible to everyone from the tech-savvy to the technophobe!
