What is the course about?

Pilates Barre Workout is a Pilates class performed in standing, using the ballet barre to assist stability and alignment. Standing Pilates exercises combine the core conditioning and spinal alignment of traditional Pilates, with the benefits of weight bearing strength training for the lower body. In particular the muscles of the hips, thighs, lower legs, feet and ankles are toned.

Neck and shoulder exercises to release range of movement in the shoulder girdle and train the postural strength of the upper back and spine are incorporated as part of each lesson. To complete the whole body approach of this course, spinal mobility and muscle flexibility are integrated in every class.
