What is the course about?

The course will look at Tai Chi movements and principles as taught in the form and their application to daily life.

What will we cover?

Yang style Tai Chi form and application. How we use the body's movement and breathing in Tai Chi.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

You will be able to perform a sequence of Tai Chi movements with coordinated breathing as well as being able to apply them.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Suitable for all levels, although some experience of Tai Chi is beneficial.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

This course will be delivered in the classroom, onsite at City Lit. Some home practice is expected.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

There are no other costs. Please wear clothing suitable for movement, non-slip shoes, and bring some water with you.
