What is the course about?

This course will look at war art from the nineteenth to the 21st century, from recording damage done, the impact on the City, both physical & psychological to the exuberant celebrations of peace. London’s museums & galleries hold a treasure trove of war art, some rightly famous, others less so, created by those driven by the need to set down the sights seen to make sense of the tumult of war.
