Mental Wealth Festival 2016
The 2016 Mental Wealth Festival ran for three days in September with over 700 people attending the festival. There were inspiring talks and contributions by comedian and mental health advocate Ruby Wax, film star and Hacked Off campaigner Hugh Grant, writer and communicator Alastair Campbell, authors Paul Dolan and Toby Litt and many others...
The festival featured over 70 events, including sessions with Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor who reflected on spirituality and wellbeing, ‘Mental Health and Homelessness’ with Lord John Bird, co-founder of The Big Issue and ‘Mind your own Business’ exploring the workplace and mental wellbeing as well as a variety of creative workshops such as writing for wellbeing and jewellery-making.
