This course will help you develop your writing by reading factual texts and short pieces of English literature and analysing how these are created and structured and how different techniques, language features and grammar are used to convey moods, emotions, atmosphere, humour, characters and images. You will be set tasks such as writing a blog or portfolio, which the teacher will help you with, that require you to use and develop what you have learned from the class analyses to create expressive meaningful and well-organised pieces of writing.
