Losing your hearing can happen to anyone, at any age, and there's no one-size-fits-all experience. Lipreading, often combined with a hearing aid, is a fantastic way to manage hearing loss, enhance communication, and improve your quality of life.
At City Lit, we offer lipreading and hearing loss management classes to boost your communication skills and confidence in social situations. Most of our tutors have personal experience with hearing loss and teach from lived experience.

Tutors: Nicola HicksThis class is suitable for if you have completed beginners modules 1 and 2 or have completed a lipreading class in the past and already have a basic understanding of lipreading theory and fingerspelling. You will develop your lipreading and fingerspelling skills and build your confidence.
