Embroidery & stitching courses in London
Stitched, textured, embellished, embroidered and appliquéd surfaces can all transform your textiles project. Our offering of short and long courses will teach you a variety of skills to apply to any project you work on. From hand stitch workshops to creative machine embroidery and no matter your skill level, our tutors will provide techniques, tips and ideas to help realise your ambitions.
Taught in our purpose built studio, with good natural light and height adjustable tables and chairs, the learning experience is both encouraging and challenging. Tutors support learners to select appropriate techniques with which to complete their project and develop a body of samples that can be used on future projects.
As with anything, practice makes perfect so we strongly encourage practicing your stitching whenever you can, to get the most out of your classes. You’ll get a buzz out of seeing how fast you master a stitch before learning the next one. Most materials are provided and a full explanation of what you might need to bring can be found in each course page.
