Basketry Courses in London
We offer a number of courses in basket making, ranging from the two-year City Lit Basketry Course, covering a great many techniques, to short courses specialising in willow or rush and other, less traditional materials and techniques, such as random weave. There are courses for both beginners and those with some experience.

You will be introduced to some new techniques and emphasis will be placed on self directed study and developing a personal portfolio of work. This course is suitable for those experienced in a wide range of basketry techniques and who have completed the City Lit basketry course or have equivalent skills. On successful completion of this two-year course, following an exhibition of some of your work, you will receive a City Lit certificate in basketry. Suitable for beginners, though some craft experience is expected. Payment plans will be available.
