Professional Development Courses in London

Special circumstances can require specialist training. Further your knowledge and understanding with these helpful classes that focus on specific, often demanding topics and aspects of therapy.  From working with autism to dealing with addiction, learn how to provide effective counselling in the face of complicated and testing situations, acquiring new skills, knowledge and approaches to use in your professional work.

Who are these courses for?

Due to the specialist nature of our professional development programme, these CPD courses are only open to trained counsellors, counselling trainees studying at Level 4 or above, or employed helping professional such as nurses and healthcare workers.

Choosing your course

Courses at City Lit are designed to facilitate part-time adult learning. Courses run daytimes, evenings and weekends, at our main site on Keeley Street in Covent Garden, which is easily accessible via the tube or bus.

BACP Membership tutors

Our tutors are qualified and practising psychotherapists and counsellors with extensive experience, and members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. So, in addition to providing you with top quality counselling tuition, you can also benefit from their working knowledge of counselling practise.
