Want to discuss what history is? Keen to develop your historical skills? Need a friendly and supportive space to discuss your own project? We are here to help!

Our further historical studies courses are designed to help you to build your historical skills and support the undertaking of your own project, be it an essay, a university application form, an oral history project, a local and/or community history undertaking or work-related training (e.g. thinking about the legacies of empire and decolonisation as CPD for history teachers).

Our courses in this section are both short and long as well as online and face-to-face. If interested in our advanced history course or the option for tailored work-related training, please contact history coordinator Martin Jorgensen at Martin.jorgensen@citylit.ac.uk
