Learn Italian - Courses in London & Online

This skills-based course is for intermediate learners of Italian and is intended to improve your Italian speaking skills in everyday situations. We will be looking at both formal and informal scenarios, and the aim is to help you to feel more comfortable speaking Italian in order to improve your fluency.

Please note this course is intended for learners who are at the Italian 2 Upper/Italian 3 lower level (learners in their third/fourth year of study).

Continue consolidating your Italian and find yourself speaking with increasing confidence on this communicative course for students who have studied Italian for year and are now starting their second year. The emphasis is on developing your oral skills. Suitable if you have completed 'Italian beginners' or have an equivalent level (about a year of part-time study). Based on Nuovo Espresso 2 (Alma Edizioni, Italian version).

Italian 3 lower: module 1 is for learners who are at a solid intermediate level (CEFR B1). On this course you'll be learning more grammar structures and broadening your vocabulary, while also improving your reading and listening skills through exposure to increasingly complex material.

Italian 2 upper is our third-year Italian course, so this year you'll be progressing through lower intermediate Italian towards intermediate. You'll find yourself learning new ways to express yourself more accurately and confidently. The emphasis is on the development of your oral skills. Suitable if you have completed 'Italian 2 lower', or have studied Italian for about 2 years. Based on Nuovo Espresso 2 (Alma Edizioni, Italian version).

This is the third module (or term) of Italian beginners, so you will be completing your first year of Italian and getting ready to progress to year 2 (Italian 2 lower).

An opportunity to gain an A-level qualification in one year. You will study topics relating to the society, history and culture of contemporary Italy and will develop relevant exam skills. Suitable if you have studied Italian part time for about five years. The course fee includes non-refundable exam costs payable in advance and is payable in instalments. This course is a popular choice for learners who feel they will benefit from the discipline of an exam course, knowing that they have a clear goal in sight at the end of the course.

IMPORTANT:

This course will be delivered online. However, a mock exam will be held in late February or early March at our central London college. You will therefore need to make sure that you make the necessary arrangements so that you can attend. The exact dates will be posted when the mock exam has been set up.

The official exams will also take place at our Covent Garden college during the months of May and June (exact dates to be confirmed). Please note that the end date of the course may change depending on when the official exams are scheduled.
