Maths GCSE Courses at City Lit in London

A maths GCSE is essential to ensure you have the skills needed to work in today’s job market. It is often a requirement of certain jobs and education courses. The GCSE is also a fantastic opportunity to discover a new world of numbers, algebra, geometry and statistics as well as develop skills you didn’t know you had.

Our passionate and skilled tutors will ensure you become confident in the key mathematical concepts needed in daily life and give you all the support you require to do well in the qualification.

    This short course is to make sure you are ready for the full GCSE Maths Foundation programme (AC201/AC205) and to ensure you know what to expect from the full qualification, its content and the commitment required for success in terms of time investment, dedication, interest and ability. GCSE Maths is a qualification which show employers and universities that you have a good level of maths as well as effective concentration and study skills. It also demonstrates that you are able to learn and retain abstract concepts. Please note the Friday classes are not every Friday, but approximately every third week.

    Do you want to gain a Maths GCSE but are not ready yet to achieve this in a single year? Do you need to test your abilities before attempting the qualification course? Then this Getting Ready for Maths GCSE is the course for you. It will prepare you for the accreditation and familiarise you with its content, level and expectation. You will need to complete and pass an initial assessment before starting this course to demonstrate at least a Level 1 Functional Skills level of Maths.
