This course will develop all the skills you need to perform your workplace Word work to a high level . Such tasks will include developing your use of Styles, modifying pictures in documents, using templates, controlling text flow and using mail merge.   4. ITQ level 3 ECDL: advanced fast-track

Do you want a qualification to prove these skills?     In this lecture Raman Prinja, Professor of Astrophysics at University College London (UCL) will take us through a spectacular tour of our home galaxy, the Milky Way. Starting from our local solar neighbourhood, Professor Prinja will explain the latest discoveries of star and planet formation, and massive stellar clusters that feedback to the ecology of our galaxy. Using superb imagery from space and ground-based telescopes, the lecture will discuss the overall form and content of our galaxy, including the oldest stars and evidence for dark matter in its halo. The journey will also take us to the very centre of the galaxy to explore a supermassive black hole. The lecture will conclude with the future evolution of our galaxy and the great collision ahead. Raman Prinja is Professor of Astrophysics at University College London (UCL). His main research interests are in the studies of the evolution and properties of the most massive stars in our Galaxy.
