A challenging pace is maintained on this course which has enabled me to greatly increase my understanding and use of Excel in a short period of time. The clear demonstrations to the group, during which the tutor asks and responds to questions, are followed by well differentiated individual monitoring and support of the student practical activities.

'Excel: Advanced' was the natural next step following 'Excel: Essentials'. The course was a valuable learning experience for me, and I highly recommend it if you want to increase your productivity in using Excel.

During this course you will learn advanced features of Excel such as pivot tables and macros.

The tutor is an excellent teacher with a great ability to share his knowledge with his students. He was patient in explaining advanced concepts well, in a way in which all the students in the class could understand.

After completing this course, I have moved on to work as a volunteer teaching assistant on this very course, weeks later. This is allowing me to help other students with their learning, and to also consolidate my own learning. The result of my time spent on both these Excel courses is that I am much more competent and confident now when using Excel.

I thoroughly enjoyed participation in the course and found the tutor stimulating, interesting and adroit. I only use Excel now at home although when I was working I used it extensively and the first day was revision plus additional aides. I missed the second day due to illness and did not take up the offer of attending a substitute day because the content sounded too sophisticated for my needs (although I was amazed at the scope of Excel and wished I still worked in order to use it more)!
