This course is a great start, to see if you would be interested to commit to the level one course. Don't be afraid to try it, nobody is perfect at BSL initially and we are there to learn and support each other with the support of our teacher.

Highly recommended. Learnt to fingerspell within the first half of the first lesson, which proves invaluable as a fallback to not knowing how to sign. The very next week I was then able to fingerspell to a deaf BSL-speaking person!

Make sure to practice at least a little (~1 hour) sometime before the next class so your up to speed to push on in the next class.

It's really fun and fullfilling. I had a blast.

I would encourage them to explore their curiosity in BSL. I was very happy that the taster course runs on Saturdays, as this gives learners like me an option to study BSL

This was by far the best course I took so far at Citylit. It was beyond my expectations. The teacher is absolutely amazing, you understand everything to her she has that quality she was great. I recommended 100% to anyone that wants to learn sign language, it's an amazing experience to learn. Review by Colombian girl / (Posted on 09/12/2014)
This course even if was just and introduction definitely kept my interest on sign language and definitely will help me at work! For an introduction it covers lots of topics. I've just finish the introduction to BSL but I just signed in for the level 1. Looking forward. And the teacher Nathalie is amazing. Review by Ari / (Posted on 09/12/2014)
3 hours is too long and too early on a saturday. Course notes with signs taught in the class were missing. Review by Minger / (Posted on 08/12/2014)
