This is a beginners course. Some knowledge of using computers is advisable.

The course will be taught with a blend of demonstrations, tutorials, one on one tuition and peer feedback. Practice is encouraged outside of the class.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

There are no other costs. City Lit will provide computers though you can bring in your own laptop if you prefer.You may choose to bring your own laptop if you prefer.

Lyndon Ives Tutor Website

Lyndon began his film career working as a runner on several short films and features whilst writing for his own films. Following this, he wrote, produced and directed three successful short films in quick succession between 2003 and 2006. Since then Lyndon has been developing a number of feature films for his production company while working as a filmmaker, with his most recent short film The Verity featuring in a number of international film festivals. For over eighteen years Lyndon has been running a wide range of practical film courses aimed at beginners and professionals alike. His teaching style is very practical, “I try to make them as enjoyable as possible and hopefully the first thing the students would want to do after the course is make another film…”
