What is the course about?
Learning beaded jewellery techniques to create a professional finish.
What will we cover?
Knotting between beads and pearls using using silk thread and gimp.
How to string semi precious stones and finish with the correct findings for heavy stones.
Use a variety of methods of creating multi strand beaded jewellery, use a variety of wire and elastic.
Recognise and use complicated bead patterns, jewellery lengths and bead mixing.
Create your personal pieces of beaded jewellery such as, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Create a set of personal beaded jewellery pieces that reflect a colour theme.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Intermediate, some previous beading experience is required.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Through practical demonstrations both to the group and to individuals. Group discussions and feedback are encouraged.

All material will be supplied but please bring any personal beads and tools you would like to work with.
