Choosing the right course

City Lity Performing Arts offers a broad and varied varied mix of courses: acting and theatrepiano and singingradio, TV and screen acting and presentingmusic technologydance styles from ballet, belly and Bollywood to tap, burlesque, jazz and contemporary; voice training and accents; music history and theory; playing a wind or string instrument; ensembles and jazz and pop courses; and much, much more.

You can learn a wide range of performing arts skills with our progressive, flexible part-time courses design to develop your imagination, sense of play and self-expression, meeting and working with like-minded people and being taught by practisint performing artists. These skills will enhance your life and can be transferred into other areas of work and business. Everyone is welcome: we are only concerned with individual potential and not a specified ideal.

General courses
We provide the opportunity for adults to explore and develop creative aspects of themselves. Our non-accredited courses provide structured pathways of progression with the flexibility to accommodate adults at any stage of development. You can choose from a wide variety of courses that don’t require an interview and we are happy to advise you on creating your own balanced programme of learning.


Courses with qualifications: Foundation and Diploma courses in Drama

Recognised by top drama schools and universities, our Foundation and Diploma programmes develop professional skills and values, and allow students to progress to higher education and/or professional work. From Sep 2020, the curriculum for Diploma in Performing Arts will expand to include music options.
