In this intensive course, you will learn how to successfully publish your first book in Amazon Kindle and other formats using a Word document. You will need good internet good computer file management skills and experience of using Word. To successfully publish your book on Amazon, you need to have a good understanding of how Amazon works behind the scenes and how to take advantage of this. You also need to consider how a customer finds your book and major factors that affect their decision to buy.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is for beginners. However, students should be confident and competent computer users on a Mac or Windows computer. You should have good internet skills and experience of using Word documents,and know how to manage and arrange files on the computer . You should also be able to follow spoken instructions, read written instructions and information, and discuss work with your tutor. You should be able to use numbers and be able to do simple measurements and calculations.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Step by step instructions, with demonstrations and exercises where appropriate, will help you grasp the concepts. There will be homework set each week.

There are no additional costs. You will need to download and install software on your computer during the course. (Calibre and Adobe Digital Editions.) You will be guided through this process by the tutor.
