Textile design & software courses in London
From drafting designs for new textile prints to experimenting with sketchbook ideas, playing with vectors for laser cutting samples or surfaces, our courses cover it all. We offer a chance for leaners to experiment with new ideas in a safe environment under the watchful eye of our expert tutors and technicians.
Digital technologies play a huge part in contemporary textile design and our digital courses are aimed at learners wishing to take their skills from pencil to pixel. Taught in our new design studios, we offer seamless access from studio to workshop so you can see your designs come to life before your eyes.
We teach on iMacs or Apple Mac laptops and our courses use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Our classes start with sketching and experimentation, before honing in on a final idea which can be realised on cloth using our sublimation printer, or simply live as a sketchbook full of ideas ready for the next step.
Timid about taking the first step? Join one of our short taster courses to give it a go.
