What is the course about?
The course will introduce students to art studio practice, learning to use a wide range of art materials and techniques, selecting subject matter for drawing and painting, participate in group projects.
What will we cover?
Basic drawing and painting techniques
Collage and mixed media
Group projects on selected themes
Good studio practice.

By the end of this course you should be able to...
Experiment with a wide range of art materials
Choose subject matter for drawing and painting
Participate in group projects
Share your work with others
Give and receive feedback on your work and other students.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is for students with learning disabilities who have an ability and interest in developing their art skills.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
- Group discussion
