This course will help you improve your speaking, writing, and overall ability to communicate effectively in English. You will learn the skills needed to plan and create a radio programme, including researching topics, preparing and writing scripts, and delivering them confidently to an audience.
The programme content will be your choice—ranging from current affairs to arts, sports, films, hobbies, and more. You will develop techniques for emphasising key points, selecting precise vocabulary, using the right tone, and creating an emotional connection with your audience. Pronunciation, fluency, and vocabulary building will be central to your progress. You will also gain practical experience in editing and producing a finished radio programme.

· Using appropriate intonation, pacing, and pronunciation to communicate ideas effectively.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is for ESOL learners at Level 1–Level 2. You do not need any previous experience in presenting or broadcasting—just an interest in improving your English and communication skills.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
You will learn in a friendly, supportive environment, using a mix of individual, pair, and group activities. Lessons are designed to be practical and interactive, helping you develop important life and work skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, negotiating, and collaborating.
You will follow a step-by-step process to complete each stage of the project, with guidance and individual feedback from your tutor. You will be expected to do some work outside class, including preparation and practice (this will include preparation and practice in groups,) and to use Google Classroom to access materials and communicate with your classmates.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
