    Have you achieved maths GCSE at grade 4 or above and are now wanting to take your maths up to the next level without doing a full A-Level? Are you particularly interested in practical statistical analysis? Then Core Maths (level 3) is for you. This qualification develops your quantitative and problem-solving skills and will be valuable preparation for many types of work and qualifications that rely on understanding statistics. You will work on analysing data, maths for personal finance, estimation, critical analysis of data and models, probabilities, the normal distribution, correlation and regression.



    This short introductory course will ensure you have the skills and commitment to be ready for accreditation. You MUST complete this course before graduating to the full accreditation course.

    If you are eligible for government funding and you are 19 or over and do not already have a full level 3 qualification (equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or 2 full A levels) you may be able to study this course for free. For more information click here



    The course fee is £724. If you are unable to pay this upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the course fee, repayable after the course ends. A deposit of £100 is also payable to secure your place (refundable after you complete the course).
