This course is designed as a supportive introduction to the skills and content covered in the GCSE English Language qualification. It is ideal for learners who want to build their confidence in reading, writing, and spoken communication before progressing to a full GCSE course. This course does not guarantee progression on to the accredited GCSE course students’ attendance and week 5 assessment results will contribute to a progression decision.  The course provides a foundation in analysing texts, developing writing techniques, and expressing ideas clearly in both written and spoken formats.
