Summer and the holidays are coming! Let’s sing in French to celebrate.



Sing your way to better French pronunciation, grammar and cultural knowledge with this fun workshop based on simple songs that French speakers learn as children. Suitable if you have recently started studying French or have an equivalent knowledge of the language.

Come and discover what a lower intermediate French class feels like.



This course is suitable if you have studied French for 2-3 years recently or have done a GCSE some time ago.

With proceeds going to the City Lit Student Bursary, the French Film matinée is a chance to round out the term with a fun movie matinée in the college. The film will be presented by tutor Stéphanie Radet.



The film we will be watching is Les 400 coups by François Truffaut (1959), a film about Antoine Doinel, a semi-autobiographical character and a misunderstood adolescent in Paris who struggles with his parents and teachers.

’Tis the season to be jolly, so let’s sing some Christmas songs in French!
