You’re a writer with some experience and a great idea for a children’s novel, but plotting is the thing that lets you down. Over six weeks on this fun and interactive course you’ll learn how to structure your book, finding fresh ways to develop your idea into a compelling plot.

Are you looking for a new or better job? Do you feel nervous in interviews? Would you like to learn the English you need to impress an employer? This course will help you with the language you need to do well in interviews, to feel calm and relaxed. You will work on predicting the types of questions an employer will ask you and you will practise answering them. You will work on your pronunciation including stress and you will role play different situations that take place in an interview.

Continue improving your elementary Spanish on this communicative course, taught in Spanish with the emphasis on speaking and listening. Suitable if you have completed 'Spanish 2 lower: module 1' or equivalent. Based on units 6-10 of 'Ele Actual A2 (libro del alumno)' and exercise book (SM Publishers).

This course will develop your critical appreciation of the cinema by teaching you how to read and understand film texts. We will look at the elements that underpin film form – narrative, mise en scène, cinematography, editing and sound – alongside its historical development. We will consider film style by exploring classical, post-classical and art cinema and we will examine influential critical modes of analysis, such as genre, authorship and spectatorship.

Revise, consolidate and improve your listening and speaking skills on this lively course, which will help you communicate more confidently in daily life situations. Ideal if you have an intermediate level of Spanish, are doing 'Spanish 3 lower', 'Spanish 3 upper' or have an equivalent level (B1 level).

Continue improving your lower intermediate French on this communicative course. The emphasis will be on developing your speaking and listening skills and on acquiring a greater understanding of French grammar and fluency.

Build your confidence in tackling more personal, complex drawings. Further explore observational drawing and visual language. Develop your drawing skills by working with different approaches and exploring a range of artists' drawing process.

Explore the three dimensional possibilities of print. This course will encourage you to develop your initial ideas through experiments with printmaking techniques and bookbinding structures to create an artist’s book. Some printmaking and/or bookbinding experience may be beneficial but not essential.

Continue improving your elementary French in this lively interactive course. This course is suitable if you have completed a French 2 lower: module 1 course or studied French recently for at least a year.
