What is the course about?
Learn your favourite TikTok moves with an experienced dancer and choreographer. TikTok dances are short choreopgaphed dance routines, that are performed and shared on the social media platform Tik Tok. These dances can range from simple, easy-to-follow moves to more complex and challenging routines.
What will we cover?
Each lesson will start with a group warm-up and stretch. We will aim to learn the 7 most popular moves on TikTok inlcuding the Citirokk, the Smeeze and the Woah.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Learn new techniques
Improve your coordination, rhythm and fitness
Boost confidence whilst having fun.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is suitable for all levels and abilitites.
In order to get the most from the course you will be able to:
• Follow spoken instructions
• Use numbers to recognise rhythms within dance.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
The course has a physical approach from beginning to end. The class is tutor led and you will be taught through demonstration and explanation. We will break down the dance moves and learn two or three moves at a time, once you master these in slow motion we will move at the same pace as the music. If you’ve got those down, move on to mastering the next two or three moves, combine from the beginning and repeat until you’ve made your way through the whole dance!
As part of the course content, your tutor may record your image for initial and ongoing assessment purposes. You are entitled to decline to participate in the recording of your image.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement and allows you to adapt to changes in your body temperature. Suitable footwear such as Jazz shoes or trainers. Jewellery should be removed at the start of the class.
Please Note: This course is exempt from the standard refund and transfer policy.
