What is the course about?

This course aims to provide students with a boost in confidence and using the Spanish language through the art of theatre.

What will we cover?

Students will enjoy a range of stimulating activities including image, newspaper and forum Theatre with the aim of writing short scenes, improvising exercises, directing and performing, providing an excellent opportunity to improve your language skills.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- feel more confident in using and understanding Spanish
- have better clearity when communicating in Spanish
- recognise some Spanish language theatre writers and some of their work
- practice short scenes in class.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is designed for upper intermediate and advanced students. You should have studied Spanish for 4 or 5 years.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

This course is based on the tutor's own material.

When I've finished, what course can I do next?

Spanish through theatre in January or any level 4 or 5 Spanish courses.

Diego Iudicissa

Diego is a Spanish teacher from Argentina with a passion for languages, arts and travelling. He has lived and taught in many cities including Buenos Aires, Madrid, Moscow and London. He has experience teaching all levels at a variety of institutions including universities, adult education colleges and government organisations. Diego has a degree in Social Communication and a postgraduate degree in Politics. He has also completed studies in drama and is a drama practitioner currently delivering workshops in community theatre. As well as drama, he enjoys reading and travelling.
