This 1-day course will offer a practice framework to support therapists wanting to adopt a stammering-affirming approach to therapy. This framework offers 6 positive pathways and directions of travel. These will be illustrated through practice examples and preliminary findings from a pilot study will also be shared. Finally, participants will be introduced to ‘Reflect’, an app being developed through Stuttering Commons to give online access to the framework via an interactive self-rating scale and dynamic radial map.
