What is the course about?
The course is about telling your video and audio stories, recording and documenting your stories, sharing them with others and uploading to social media and youtube.
What will we cover?
Planning your story, what do you want to say, tell or show? Using video camera and tripod. Using a microphone to record voices, using a smartphone to record video, on location: shooting video outside.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Create a personal story using video
Use basic video camera functions to record yours and others stories
Using basic editing tools to complete your story
Share your stories with others on social media and youtube
Create a group project on a chosen theme.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is for people with disabilities who are interested in speaking up for themselves and advocating for others using the mediums of video and audio.
