What is the course about?

Are your knees holding you back from enjoying an active lifestyle? This course equips you with practical strategies for strengthening and supporting your knees during physical activity.

We will explore how knee health is linked to diet, posture, and overall fitness, and you will discover how strengthening the muscles in your hips, feet, and ankles can make a world of difference. Each lesson you will learn and practise targeted exercises to strengthen the muscles surrounding the knee joint, as well as specialised exercises for the hips, feet, and ankles. Sessions will conclude with gentle stretching and releasing to relax and limber your lower body.
This course is designed to support general knee health and is a great complement to an active lifestyle. While all levels are welcome, it's not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have a specific injury or condition, please consult with your doctor or physical therapist before enrolling.

What will we cover?

- Explore how diet, posture and general fitness contribute to knee health
- Discover how muscles throughout the leg a the hip, knee, ankle and foot all assist in supporting the knee joint
- Practise specific exercises to strengthen and support the knee joint
- Learn specialised exercises for the hips, ankles and feet that support knee health
- Stretch and revitalise the legs.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

- Describe how diet, posture and general fitness affect knee health
- Relate knee strength to muscles throughout the length of the leg, hip, foot and ankle
- Perform exercises to strengthen and support the knee
- Demonstrate exercises for the hips, ankles and feet that support knee healthy
- Effectively stretch and release the muscles of the legs.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This is an all levels course and no prior knowledge is needed. Everybody is welcome to participate, however, prospective students should be aware that this workshop is not intended as physiotherapy. If you have a serious injury or joint condition you should consult with your doctor or physical therapist prior to enrolment.

Caroline's career in movement began with her own powerfully transformative healing journey. As a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and experienced Q3 Pilates instructor, Caroline brings a unique understanding of the body's capacity to heal and thrive. She empowers individuals to cultivate strong, fluid, and aligned movement patterns, revitalising their bodies and enhancing their long-term health. Her expertise spans Yoga, Pilates, and health-related fitness, with a consistent focus on spinal health, joint alignment, breathwork, and whole-body integration.
