City Lit tutor Heidi Wigmore

Artist Talk: The State of Her

Visual artist Heidi Wigmore explores her studio-based drawing and painting, extending to public art like installations and billboards. Her work, showcased on International Women's Day, challenges stereotypes, presenting women as protagonists. In a 25-meter canvas, she provides a commentary on contemporary womanhood, inspired by Nancy Spero's call for women to have room for possibility.
