What is the course about?
The course aims to revise and build on the basics covered at levels 1 (beginners). In particular, it aims to expand the students' vocabulary and grammar knowledge, so that learners can understand and produce accurate and appropriate language in a range of communicative occasions.
This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.

What will we cover?
Talking about daily routines
Shopping for clothes and groceries
Moving house
Talk about and plan future events
Instructions and invitations
Grammar: revision of active verbs (present and simple future tense) and present tense of passive/reflexive verbs, revision of adjectives, revision of nouns.

Shop in a supermarket and in a shopping centre
Describe your trips
Make & refuse invitations
Write short messages.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Level 2 lower course. Students should have studied Modern Greek for about one year recently or have an equivalent knowledge of the language. You will also need to respond to simple instructions and read course documents in English and be at ease with the use of numbers for daily activities (using money, giving the time etc.).
